First Nations Fisheries

A United Voice for First Nations Fisheries

Building structures for effective governance and accountability has been a priority for the FNFC, in terms of being accountable both to government for the purposes of funding, and to BC First Nations as per the First Nations Fisheries Action Plan. The FNFC registered as a society in 2008, and support for the executive structure is accomplished with great success through regular Council meetings and strong foundational society articles and policies.

The FNFC Executive Council holds their Annual General Meeting each fall, and results are reported to BC First Nations at the Annual Fisheries Assembly. See links below to view or download the FNFC Society Constitution and By-Laws.
