Our Waters, Our Future: The 2026 FNFC Drawing Contest

Our Waters, Our Future: The 2026 FNFC Drawing Contest

We are inviting children and youth under 18 in British Columbia (B.C.) to draw what healthy, clean water means to them. Your perspective matters, and your drawing can tell a powerful story.

What does “Our Waters, Our Future” mean?
Celebrate connections to land, water, and stewardship through the eyes of children and youth across B.C. Draw what clean, healthy water looks like to you and your community.

Examples of what to draw:
▪️ A healthy river, lake, or ocean
▪️ Salmon or other fish returning to their home waters
▪️ Fishing or harvesting with family
▪️ A ceremony, gathering, or cultural practice by the water
▪️ Stewardship work happening in your community
▪️ Any scene that shows what water means to you

Prizes
12 winning drawings will be selected, featured in the 2027 FNFC calendar, colouring book, and greeting cards. The Grand Prize winner’s drawing will appear on the calendar cover, be professionally framed and displayed in the FNFC office, and the winner receives a $500 Opus Art Supplies gift card. The other 11 winners each receive a goodie bag of FNFC swag.
